Enjoy Mediterranean inspired cuisine at Kashkaval Garden, a locally owned neighborhood restaurant and bar in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. Settle in to our cozy dining room, airy Garden Room, or live edge wood bar with a plate of homemade tapas and warm pita, a fresh salad, some grilled skewers, or a bubbling pot of cheese fondue. We've got a full bar and thoughtful wine list to enjoy a specialty cocktail or mocktail, a bottle or glass of one of Chef Hilary's select wines, or one of our craft beers. A little history with a lot of heart.
Deep roots in Hell's Kitchen, NYC
Our story began at a neighborhood cheese shop, the 9th Avenue Cheese Market, where longtime friends Corey and Daniel became regulars. In 2004, they helped turn it into Kashkaval Cheese Market & Wine Bar.
Today, with partner and Chef Hilary, that spirit lives on at Kashkaval Garden: homemade Mediterranean food, fondue, and a place to feel welcome and at home. Even the walls have a story — the 1950s era murals uncovered during renovation were carefully restored. Over the years, our tables have welcomed first dates, family celebrations, and friends who keep coming back.
